Abigayle’s Origin Story:

When I got into college, I assumed I could just do the work and land a tech job.

All I need to is to just be good at coding and recruiters will notice me

Or so I thought.

Despite my skills in Computer Science and founding a mental health nonprofit, I still got rejected.

What the heck was I doing wrong?!

When I saw my peers getting callbacks with less experience, I thought it was so unfair.

How could someone with LESS experience be getting job offers?

Then, it hit me.

They were way better at…dare I say it?

Networking than me.

They KNEW someone.

Still sounds unfair?

Well, it is.

Networking sucks especially if you’re an introvert like me.

But I forced myself to do it because I needed to land an internship to pay for school.

After figuring it out all on my own

(as an introvert)

I succeeded in landing a total of 8 internships throughout college.
